Had time today for a visit to the Newark Humane Society in New Jersey, to photograph some awesome adoptable dogs and cats. Thanks to the awesome help of some volunteers we managed to photograph 37 animals! First up is the adoptable male doggies.

Carson, ID# 126085 is another beautiful grey pup with a chill demeanor

ID# 127224 doesn’t have a name yet. Go take this pretty pup home and give him the first name he will ever know!

Colt, ID# 127903, was one of my favorite doggies of the day. He has such a SILLY personality. If you adopt Colt he is sure to give you many many laughs!

Biscuit, ID# 126513

Linus, ID# 125904, has one of those ADORABLE huge pittie heads. He is a silly lover boy.

Danny, ID# 125726, has that quintessential big pittie grin

This slender and mousy looking pup doesn’t have a name yet (ID# 127691). He was very easy to photograph, a beautiful dog with gorgeous eyes.

This soulful eyed dog also doesn’t have a name yet. ID# 127791, he has awesome markings.

Another big headed beauty, ID# 126749.

Blackjack is another of my favorite dogs of the day. All he wanted to do was play ball! But he was oh so cute about it, he would keep giving it right back so I would toss it for him again. He was very calm about it. 🙂

Diego was one of the most stunning dogs of the day, with his incredible blue eyes and beautiful markings.

Schultz is another incredibly striking looking dog. ID# 127503, he looked almost wolfish, with beautiful amber eyes that popped given his black fur.

The blue color really went lovely with Bingo’s rich orange coat. ID# 124545

Little silly boy, ID#126157

Such a regal looking dog with cute, floppy ears. ID# 127326

ID# 127326, waiting for you to come take him home!

When I told my family awhile back that I was hoping to photograph some of the dogs rescued from an alleged dog fighting ring in Orange, NJ, they said… “I hope they are going to be chained up!! You better be very careful!!”. Well this lovely dude is one of those dogs, and he wasn’t chained up – the only thing he is capable of doing is giving too many slobbery kisses! ID# 125745. I don’t believe he is officially up for adoption yet until there are some more court proceedings.

Sweet senior dachshund mix, ID# 127915. I think he might be deaf, he didn’t respond super well to my noise makers. 🙂

A sleek and gorgeous grey dog, ID# 127860

Pretty boy, ID# 127896

Happy faced pup, ID# 125739
Stay tuned for the ladies and some pretty kitties coming up next!
