Had an unexpected free weekend this week so I decided to spend it at my favorite spot, filled with the most amazing and incredible dogs that make me so happy – the Newark Humane Society! Of course I always wish I could take one or ten home with me, but, it comes with the territory. I hope instead, that you decide to hop on down and check some of these pups out and maybe take one or two home with you ;).
I actually took many more photos, but my eyes are burning holes in my head and it’s getting late so I am going to have to split them up. Here is the first batch!

Bach, ID# 124390, is an adorable hound mix.

Johann, ID# 125697 and Jacob, ID#125698, are brothers and two of my special favorites for the day. Johann is the protector – in all my shots he was in front of Jacob, making sure he was okay. They were pretty scared, but not in skittish way. Just melted my heart these two. I will be hoping so very much for their happy ending.

Bobby, ID# 123727 had to have his photo shoot cut very short due to a bleeding toenail, hence the less than optimal photo. His cute face is enough though. 🙂

Homer, ID# 123852, is a 9 year young Shepard and terrier mix with a smile always on his face. https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/29158634/

Rex, ID# 125889

Kush, ID# 122928, with his super cute ears, is a lab and pit mix. Reminds me a little bit of Buffy/Poppy Rose. https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/29052604/

Radar, aptly named, has THE most amazing ears. Radar is a really awesome pup who is on the energetic side, but a little exercise and training would go a very long way! Radar just needs a little love! https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/29400583/
