The Alan Purcell Wayne Animal Shelter has so many amazing adoptable dogs and cats, and I had a chance to meet them, as well as revisit some of the adoptables I first photographed in November. Maybe this second round of photos will do the trick! Fingers and paws crossed. 🙂 Without further ado, here are the pups with the cats to follow shortly.

Ladybug is a boxer/terrier mix and a fun loving little pettite gal. Perfect for someone looking for a small sized dog! http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/28654289/

Violet was a family dog for two years but circumstances beyond her control caused her to be sent to the shelter. She would love to be a family dog again!

Buck is a special dog with a special mommy – Gia! Buck was adopted out from the shelter as a baby but was returned two years later because the family was having a baby of their own and no longer had time for Buck. While Buck was happy to see his mommy, he’s had a taste of the good life and would really like to find another family!

I love me some big doggies and Agnes certainly fits the bill. She is a bear of a dog but has the demeanor of a bunny rabbit. She is a special senior lady!

Another great sized pup with so much love to give! Stop by and say hi to Preston, and maybe take him home!

Gia is a special momma who has been in the Shelter for far too long! She was happy to see her sonny boy, Buck, but wishes they both had families of their own. Or better yet, one family to share!

Sid is another long time resident. He’s been waiting so patiently! It’s time to go visit Sid and see if he will be your next best friend! 🙂

Sheldon is still also at the shelter. I have to say he has really come a long way and was much less afraid this time. His last photo was a bit chopped off because he wouldn’t leave his favorite volunteer’s side for more than a second – but look at him now!
If you liked these St. Patricks themed photos, sign your own dog up for a mini St. Patty’s day photo session on March 15th in Oradell, New Jersey!

I have a feeling Percy won’t have any problem finding a family quickly. The only question is… will it be yours? Better go fill out an application asap before another family sweeps up this special gem!

Hmmmm, one of these things is not like the other! Since I usually split up the blog posts into cats and dogs, I decided to include Alice in both. This pretty bunny has been at the shelter since November. You can’t get much fluffier.
Thanks for checking out the dogs and bunny folks! Stay tuned for the cats – there’s going to be a lot of them! 🙂 (Do you think it’s possible for me to use more exclamation marks?! I don’t think so!)
