Jackson & Mia

Yesterday I called on over my first selected pet model search entrants, Jackson & Mia. I was drawn to them because of their opposite coloring.  It’s a challenge to photograph one dark and one light dog without blowing out the highlights on one or losing detail in the other.  I figured it’d be a good test for the new studio!

Of course, I’m also partial to rescue dogs.  Jackson (on the right) was adopted from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society and Mia (left) came all the way from a rescue down in Florida.

 

Jackson and Mia are both around 10 years young.
